I'm not artistic, so I'm goin with ingredient inspiration....possibly Vicchyssoise (van Gogh's Potato Eaters), or a potato mushroom bake thing (Potato Eaters + Warhol's ode to Campbell Soup).
We will be going with a conversation between Mary Pratt's "Basting the Turkey" and Warhol's Chicken Noodle, from Campbell's Soup. We will roast a chicken and use it to make classic homemade chicken noodle soup.
A cheese plate of some kind...after all I learned "Salvador Dalí was inspired by a particularly unctuous Camembert to create the clocks in The Persistence of Memory, one of the most recognised images in art history." and here I was thinking raclette to recreate.
