Mei and I are throwing jerk chicken on the grill and pairing it with mango salsa. What are you kids bringing? Hopefully the Fergormans will show up with a newborn (to meet, not to eat).
I think we are going to bring pineapple upside-down cake… done on the BBQ! Also probably some kind of tropical style BBQ meat, whatever that means, details to come.
She is delicious, but let's agree not to BBQ my baby, okay? We'll bring some homemade mango ice cream, which should go well with the pineapple upside-down cake (Sara, you read my mind!).
Methinks I'm bringing fried rice with pineapple, lychee, and maybe bits of "Hawaiian steak" (AKA SPAM....yum).
ReplyDeleteI think I'll make a halibut mango ceviche (with tequila!) Alas, James will be in Scarborough, missing the festivities.

ReplyDeleteWe'll be bringing pineapple marainated flank steak ... And maybe greens
ReplyDeleteSince it sounds like a very meaty meal
ReplyDeleteAnd we'll also bring a jug of dark n' stormy. Since I happen to have ginger syrup, limes, and a big ol' bottle of dark Jamaican rum.
