This is still happening, right? On Saturday, September the 14th, right? I have no idea what Dan and I are going to bring but just thought I would start the conversation. :-) (Is there a theme other than cocktails and food?)
I thought I posted yesterday, but apparently it didn't work, so here I am again...
The plot of FF4 centres around drug-running between Mexico and the US, so with that in mind, Jeremy and I are making Mexican Mules! Not sure what our food pairing will be, but we're thinking taquitos.
If the Mexican theme doesn't thrill (but, tequila!), one could go with drinks from US-Mexico border states (California, New Mexico, Texas, Arizona). I feel like there's a boozy Arizona iced tea just waiting to be made/invented....
I don't see guacamole yet (too easy?), but since it's always a crowd-pleaser, we'll bring some! And some form of daiquiri, although it's more Caribbean than Mexican. I'm looking for prickly pear juice, as this makes a delicious daiquiri mix (memories of Arizona).
Hey guys -- We hate to do this so late but we have to pull out -- babysitter fail!!! I may pop in for an hour or two later -- but don't wait for us and don't count on us for margaritas. Sorry! :-(
