Feb 5th it is! What're y'all bringing?

It is on at the Fergormans for Feb 5th. Don't forget to post what soupy conconction you're bringing. To recap from previous posts, so far we've got:

* Allison & Mark H -- carrot & ginger, and possibly a dessert soup
* Kate and Ian -- winter veg
* Me -- onion, potato & thyme...likely accompanied by cheesy soda scones (it's the Irish in me)

    Let me know if dessert soup is needed more than the carrot-ginger.

    I think Dan and I are going to attempt a vegetarian hot and sour soup.

    OK, I have been informed in no uncertain terms that we will be making a non-vegetarian AND a vegetarian hot and sour soup. :0)

    James and I will be bringing a (vegetarian) Greek lemon soup, avgolemono, plus about four bottle of red wine. (Apologies in advance if you brought any of them to our housewarming...)

    For what it's worth, I for one would love to have a dessert soup, Allison. Unless it involves red beans; I've never understood why my people think beans are dessert.
